The family of the fifth murdered prostitutes are not able to celebrate Christmas and exchange gifts as done in the traditions. Their daughters have been atrocely killed and let naked laying in the street. The authorities charged Stephen Wright, 48, with killing the five prostitutes, a second suspect Tom Stephens was released on bail but was not charged in the case. The names of the prostitutes were: Gemma Addams, Ania Nicol, Anneli Alderton, Annette Nicholls and Paula Clennell.

 

The strangest in this context is that no one of the media talked about the murdered women as simple women or mothers, sisters, friends or else, but they kept focusing on the fact that they were prostitutes and were selling their bodies in the middle of the night, which shows in an indirect way that they deserved what happened to them, while it has been said that the women were practising that job to feed a heroine addiction.

 Victoria a friend of a prostitute Gemma Addams said that she used to go along Ipswich area and find Gemma walking there; this latter was very friendly according to her. But Victoria expressed her feeling towards the prostitutes, debating with her boyfriend; she said that as any person she suffered from many crisis, she was even abused by her stepfather, did drugs and lived in the streets of London. So she is wondering whether the issue of prostitution should be legal or more money should go to drug rehabilitation.
