The U.S despair at North Korean talks.

The talks in Beijing continue for the fifth day but hopes are fade concerning a north Korean disarmament. The United States criticized Pyongyang as focusing on silly details like financial sanctions and not care about its denuclearisation which should be the main matter in these talks.

 

The talks began in 2003, and were resumed after a 13- moth break. Two months after carrying out its first nuclear test on October 9th, North Korea accepted to return to the negotiation table. The talks are to be ended on Friday but the U.S envoy Christopher hill admitted he was aware that there was no sign of any deal might be reached. He said Pyongyang isn’t taking the issue into consideration and isn’t serious as well.

 

The U.S envoy said that north Korea are not clear and talk about financial sanctions, another day it’s something they want but they know they can’t have and later they say the U.S hurt their feelings especially when George W. Bush charged North Korea as being “ an axis of evil». He added that the most appropriate thing to do for them is to be aware of what caused this crisis for them “their nuclear program”.

 The talks were attended by north and South Korea, Japan, China, Russia and the United States in order to stepp out diplomatic efforts. The U.S tried in this context to persuade North Korea of implementing a deal made in September, 2005 in which N.Korea agree to dismantle its nuclear facilities in return of financial aid and security guarantees.
