An embargo on Iran for soon?

The  united nations security council is about to gather today for taking a decision to impose sanctions on Iran because of its uranium enrichment  for the nuclear weapon, tough Iran said that this nuclear program is peaceful and they have purely positive intentions, the security council is harsh and is planning to impose a serious embargo on Iran.

 

The first step towards this embargo is to prevent sensitive nuclear imports to go to Iran in order to prevent it to build a nuclear bomb. After a while of international and diplomatic pressure especially by the United States and the European Union, the U.S and Britain are moving warships and strike aircrafts to the Persian Gulf.

 

The military focus would be mainly aiming to counter any Irani attempt to block oil shipment by mining sea lanes in retaliation against a United Nations resolution which the British government hope would be adopted by the 15-members of the Security Council.

 The draft resolution mainly forbids any import or export of material or technology related to uranium enrichment reprocessing and heavy water reactors, as well as ballistic missile system. It also calls for a travel ban and freezes funds and financial assets owned or controlled by entities or people associated with sensitive areas of Iran's nuclear or missile and some eleven organisations and individuals are named and targets of the measures.
