Five U.S troops killed in Iraq.

The war in Iraq is going on as a daily activity. For both parts because if the number of American victims is about 3000 soldiers, the Iraqi one is just countless. The military said in a statement that a soldier was wounded and another was killed on Friday after their patrol was fired in the west of Baghdad. In Anbar province a sailor and three marines were killed. The violence in this province of fallujah is incredibly higher than other regions in Iraq, the military said.

 

Some 76 U.S troops have been killed in December, thus the rate of U.S killed can meet or even exceed the pervious monthly record for 2006. The U.S secretary of state Condoleezza Rice said Iraq was worth investment in American lives and dollars. This huge war costed thousand of civilian’s lives in addition to $336 billion.

 Robert Gates the defense secretary refused to give details on whether the U.S troops will withdraw from Iraq or not, but he specified that a good strategy and a broad efficient agreement have been deployed between the Iraqi military and Iraqi government and the U.S military, While the U.S people are counting their dead and waiting for their relatives in Iraq to celebrate Christmas with them, and when the Iraqi dream of a peaceful day without blood.
