Italian campaign over thin-models.

The world of beauty faced a new tendency in the pervious years which is the over thin ladies, everywhere in book or magazine stores, extremely thin ladies are exposed painted as sexy and so much beautiful and attracting, but Italians wanted to say their word about this dangerous phenomena that threatens girls especially the young ones.
 

The Italian government signs a pact with Italian designers to ban overly-thin models from the cat walk, since those designers are the most responsible, when asking ladies to be under a certain weight considered as anorexia, the Italian manifesto also aims to forbid girls under the age of sixteen years old to work in this “beauty” industry.

 This event followed the one of Madrid which imposed to refuse models if they are under a certain weight, and also the measures taken by Brazil after the death of a top-model because of anorexia. The Italian minister for sport and youth said her aim isn’t standards or aesthetics, and ask the Italian designers to develop at least another idea of beauty. She added that statistics show that sixty percent of teenagers would like to loose weight and that is a consequence of aesthetic standards. The pact doesn’t spell out any sanctions or carry any legal weight, but it is just done in the hope of regulating the beauty standards and fashion industry.
