War is still present in Afghanistan!

A top Taliban commander was killed in a deserted area in the southern province of Helmand in Afghanistan by the U.S forces, he was killed with his two associates in an air strike in his car, U.S military reported. It has also been said that this Taliban named Mullah Akhtar Mohamed Osmani has a tight link with al Qaeda and the extremist group’s leader Osama Ben laden.

 Besides, other Talibans say Osmani was not killed neither his associates, and he was not even in that area during the U.S air strike.
Osmani is considered as the highest ranking man in the Taliban’s regime and is one of the most wanted terrorist of the U.S.A, since U.S forces were sent to Afghanistan they planned to capture him and oust the Taliban’s regime and especially capturing Osama Bin Laden the worst terrorist the world has ever known (according to the U.S.A in particular and Europe in general).

 Canadian troops are operating this year in the south of Afghanistan precisely in Kandahar province in which it is believed that Osmani was the Taliban’s military chief.

But the situation changed fortunately for the afghani people and the Canadian troops are controlling the Panjwaii district, west of Kandahar city with the help of the national army and Nato forces.
