Somalia’s Islamic council attacked by Ethiopia.

Ethiopia started a self-defence offensive and bombard several Somalia’s towns by sending fighters jets across the boarders. Ethiopia launched its attack Sunday on the powerful Islamic Somali movement, in this sharp escalation of violence hundreds of people escape fighting running on their donkeys to secure areas from the central Somali town of Buur on the road of Baidoa to Mogadishu.

Ethiopian foreign affairs spokesman Solomon Abebe told that after too much patience, Ethiopia decided to give the Somali extremist group a lesson so it took defensive measures in order to counterattack the radical aggressive forces (Islamic forces) as well as foreign terrorist groups. Once Sunday attacks against Somalia chocked the population, the Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said he had no choice and has been compelled to enter into war.

The Ethiopian prime minister showed its anger towards the extremism of the Islamic movement that wants to rule Somalia on the basis of a Quran in an archaic way and told his only purpose was to protect the land and its sovereignty. Moreover it was the first time Ethiopia expressed officially its support for the current interim government backed by the United Nation. It is noticed that Ethiopia is mainly Christian that might be the reason of the Somalia Islamic forces frustration, since extremists never knew what tolerance is, let’s wait for the next!
