Red Cross worried about Somalia’s civilians.

After the Ethiopian prime minister declared officially he entered a war with Somalia, he didn’t wait to show tangible signs of that statement, indeed the international airport of Mogadishu has been struck, it is not mentioned yet how many times the Ethiopian fighter jets have bombed it, but it is known for sure; at least one person was injured.

 

As soon as the Ethiopian prime minister declared war, the Red Cross urged all parties to protect civilians from any danger, since the bombings make no distinction between extremists and civilians, Mogadishu is held by an Islamic militia which is combating the interim-government backed by Ethiopia. The union of Islamic courts which is focused on most central and southern Somalia has reopened the international airport of Mogadishu.

 A U.I.C spokesman said in the airport that his troops would overcome the crisis and combat the Ethiopian; he also indicated that they will protect and defend their own land and they are ready for war if necessary. Lost in that anarchy and escalating of violence thousands of Somali have been running away for more secure regions and the Red Cross said fighting are straining an already weak support system.
Islamic forces were compelled to withdraw from one flashpoint close to the boarders, as Ethiopia bombarded the international airport; this decision was taken by Ethiopian and Somalia’s troops, finally they did agree on one thing!
