Saddam is dead !

The previous Iraqi president has been executed early in the morning by the beginning of the religious feast (Aid el Adha) he was hanged at 6a.m by Iraqi hooded men, while he refused to be hooded and wanted to show his face at his last moments of his life, he was calm and was carrying with him the holy book “El Quran”. No American was there, a sign which aims to prove it was a pure Iraqi matter, despite the demand of the Iraqi authority to postpone the execution for after the religious feast, no respect towards Islam has been showed, and all Muslims woke up in that holy occasion by watching an execution on their TV screen.

 

Saddam who was 69 years old came at the government when he was 22; he tried a coup that didn’t succeed. He had ruled Iraq for 24 years with an iron fist before his ousting in 2003. The first channel that broadcasted the execution was the famous “Eliraqiya”, showing at the same time joy and happiness in Iraq’s streets, besides the lawyer of Saddam Hussein told it is a very sad day for the whole Arabic and Muslim nation.

 Saddam was charged of killing 148 Shiites in Dujail (north Baghdad) as well as trying his weapons on Iranian civilians during his war with Iran, and then doing the same with Kurdish. Saddam was wrong, was jugged and then paid for what he did. But who will punish the killers of the 1300 Lebanese civilians during the summer Israeli attack of July, 2006? Who will charge and prosecute the slaughters of Palestinians in Gaza? Who will punish the responsible of kana’s genocide in south Lebanon in which babies, children, women and elders were horribly killed in 1996 and 2006?Only god and Bush got the answer!
