Castro message for the New Year.

After recovering from his abdominal surgery, Fidel Castro the ailing Cuban leader sent a message on Saturday for his people, in which he thanked them for supporting him and being by his side in such difficult moment when his health is in danger. The president said his recovery is going to be a long process but is not out of reach. He added he was informed of all what was going on in the country and outside as well, his colleges were always keeping him in touch and also consulting him in needs in different vital matters.

 

Before he wished the Cuban a happy new year, Castro expressed his admiral towards the Cuban calm and maturity, while still saying what he thinks about imperialism concerning the consuming of human resources, the unfair distribution of wealth as well as the human exploitation in addition to the destruction of the environment. The power in Cuba has been given to Fidel’s young brother Raul Castro the Cuba’s veteran defence minister. Fidel did not appear in public since July. The condition of his treatment had been kept as a state secret.

 The U.S are speculating about Fidel Castro’s heath and said he has a caner, tough they have no evidence to prove their statement, besides Cuba has been keen to show Castro is still involved in local matters and all political issues of his nation.
